Alania Salazar, AMFT, Bereavement Counselor

Alania supports children, families, and individuals through life transitions, and the experiences of death, loss, and grief. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Santa Barbara, with a specialization in Latinx Mental Health, and is currently pursuing licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Alania is dedicated to serving her community and providing care to underserved families and individuals. Her approach centers each person’s cultural background and lived experience with respect and compassion wherever they are in their journey. Outside of the therapeutic work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her loved ones and tabby cat, and exercising or going for runs throughout Santa Barbara.
