Cheryll Puyot, Development & Events Manager

Cheryll joined Hospice of Santa Barbara in 2017 as the development and marketing coordinator. She received her B.A. in political science from UCLA. Shortly after completing her degree, she began her fundraising career at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Community in Los Angeles, where she worked on a $25 million capital campaign for a new learning center and gymnasium. Cheryll later joined weSPARK Cancer Support Center in 2016 as their development and events manager. At weSPARK, she planned and executed six major fundraising events, including an annual comedy show, Jason Alexander’s Celebrity Poker Tournament, and an annual 5K Run/Walk. Cheryll feels her passion for better health and wellness coincides with HSB’s mission. Currently, she organizes and produces special events including the illuminate Speaker Series, Heroes of Hospice, Light Up A Life ceremonies, and the Compassionate Care of Carpinteria’s annual fundraiser. In her free time, she likes to do anything active, including traveling abroad, hiking trips, hot yoga, and baking sweet treats.
