Shining Light Society
Welcome to the Shining Light Society of Hospice of Santa Barbara (HSB)! As a Shining Light, you help us fulfill our promise of providing compassionate care for anyone experiencing the impact of life-threatening illness or grieving the death of a loved one. We could not do our work without you!
Despite in-person limitations due to the pandemic, HSB continues to meet the increased need for services in safe and effective ways. We offer telehealth appointments, contactless deliveries (including medical prescriptions and groceries), phone check-ins, and virtual gatherings. In mid-2020, we began partnering with Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics to serve low-income COVID-positive patients and their families. To date, we have served over 100 of these patients and over 200 of their family members through our Patient Care Services. This would not be possible without the generosity of our Shining Light Society members.

2022 ANNUAL DONORS
SPRING 2023 - Hosted at the Helena Mason Art Gallery in the funk zone, nearly 100 guests enjoyed art, wine, and food, while celebrating the impact of HSB’s work in the community.
