Hospice of Santa Barbara's Community Education Program seeks to engage and empower people with information on aging, illness, dying, death and bereavement. Our goal is to provide opportunities to learn and ask questions, in order to become better informed about choices and aware of options.

We offer a wide variety of educational opportunities including (but not limited to):

• On-Site Work Place Presentations

• On-Site Community Organization Presentations

• Visiting Lecturers

• Workshops

• Staff/Volunteer Support and Training

• Discussion Groups

Our Community Education program seeks to help our community to become better informed, to feel more prepared for the range of needs surrounding mortality, and to be aware of and connected to available community resources.

Community Education is just another way Hospice of Santa Barbara supports not only how we die, but how we live.
